WANTED: Museum eNewsletter Intern (unpaid)
Summary:
The Florida Museum of Natural History is looking for a creative marketing student to help establish an eNewsletter using
the Vertical Response online service.
Hours per week:
5-15 varies based on deadlines and school schedule. (Flexible)
Duties:
Compile content from various departments within the Museum. Assist the Membership Coordinator in production of an eNewsletter.
Work with the Museum's webmaster to ensure information in the eNewsletter is updated to the web site. Work with the Membership
Coordinator to develop marketing promotions within the various Museum departments to be advertised in the eNewsletter. Work with
graphics department and photography.
Skills:
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe programs, internet, and e-mail. Must have good customer service skills, interview skills,
and be able to work in a team environment. Ability to work with deadlines, have edit and proofing skills, research skills, and writing skills.
Knowledge of Vertical Response e-mail marketing program a plus.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate or graduate student in good standing with the University. Candidate must have either a museum and/or marketing background.
